just enough

you know there is just enough ...

• just enough time to write a blog...
• just enough food in my tummy...
• just enough Benjamens in my account...
• just enough of so many various things to keep me realizing that
  

yes... the world is still turning.

• This life is not about me! It is about the one who created me. It is about giving to the neighbor and I don't just mean the house or person next to me. I mean anyone who is not me.. that is my neighbor. I wonder how many people have read the blogs and writings of others in this vast array of space known only as the Internet. How many are laughing with the ones that are truly happy ... or crying for the ache you can hear if you truly pay attention.
  
• I don't get on here often but sometimes a friend will read the writings of someone else on here or in a forum and last night was one of those nights. I got on and posted a message to that person with deep care and concern for her. She was looking for answers ...but I think mostly a listening "ear". My heart ached for her and i didn't even know her. My husband asks "why do you care about someone you don't even know" and i said ... because Jesus did.. actually I said God made my heart that way... however as I sit and write to this open void I realized in my heart the reason I do care is because Jesus Christ cared. Imagine what it would be like if we did.
• John Lennon's song "imagine" just came to mind... I would like to preface this next statement with "I do like John Lennon's music"... having said that >> I don't agree with some of his lyrics. There is no such things as a utopia because there is good and evil ... sin and purity ... choices... good and bad. To not have suffered is to not know what true joy and thankfulness are. It is important however to "imagine" there's no selfishness... or pride... for those are the clinchers to disaster. Imagine if you treated people how you would like to be treated regardless of how they treat you day in and day out and not give up on them. They see the difference, believe me. :) They feel the difference. In many more cases than not, they change because of that difference.
• If we can wrap our heads around the fact that it's not about "me" and began loving and living passionately out loud for others it would make a difference. That is the call to all followers of Jesus Christ. Love God then Love our neighbor.... you will love yourself simply because it feels good to love others outside yourself.
• I love my Jesus!! :) Anyone who knows me would tell you that... and because I love my Jesus I love my neighbor. I am far from perfect in that, but I try. That is how we live a peaceful life...one of joy and completion. You begin to realize the only thing you can take with you to heaven is the relationships....not the cash, debt, things, etc. but the PEOPLE. The relationships. The memories.
• Life won't be perfect as we live here on earth... but we can live brighter and happier. We have the choice... not an easy one and we do need to place people around us that will hold us accountable and hear our cries... but it's our choice. There's just enough.
